I wish to thank the Committee and members of the Rangatira Ski Club, for the beautiful bouquet they sent following Don’s passing.
Rangatira Ski Club is Don’s legacy and his name will live on for as long as the Club stands and that will be forever, with yet another generation of members enjoying the facilities of two lodges and a great reputation as a family club, built up over the many years since a group of young Aucklanders, joined Don and Bruce and actually built the Iwikau Lodge.
There will be a gathering of Auckland family and friends, who wish to remember Don and say their farewells, from 1.30/2pm pm till 3.30, on Sunday, 1st May at the Kings College STAFF dining/ lounge room - Kings College, Otahuhu.
Rangatira members are welcome to join, please let me know who might attend, as I need to give the caterers of the afternoon tea, an estimate of numbers.
Thank you again for the flowers and kind thoughts

Over summer of 2016, our major project is staining the cedar cladding of both Lodges.
Come and have some fun, get the work done and receive two free nights accommodation this season. The first work party at Iwikau is nearly upon us, being held 28/29 February and a second one on 12/13 March. We have 90 litres of Ebony stain and we need as many willing hands as we can get to put this on the building. If you haven’t attended a work party for a few years we need your help. Please make the effort to attend as after all we are a club and operate on a volunteer basis. You don’t need to be an expert as staining, this is perfect for novice painters! Your teenagers are most welcome!
All meals are provided and every attendee will have their club account credited with two nights accommodation. Car pooling will also be arranged.
• Iwikau – 27-28 Feb, 12-13 March,
• Turoa - 2-3 April, 16-17 April
