2010 Haensli Cup Results

Despite an earlier than normal race start time of 9.30am, coupled with the fact that the lifts didn’t open untill 8:30 due to soft snow conditions, everyone managed to make it to start gates on time.

Each race day we seem to be faced with different challenges to contend with. With soft snow conditions and passing cloud, this race day one proved to be nothing out of the ordinary.

The event crew ran the race so efficiently and smoothly that the racing was mostly finished and starting to pack up by 11.15am.

The prize giving was hosted by Ruapehu Ski Club; who once again provided us with a fantastic selection of Swiss deli products and refreshments.

We entered a total of five mixed teams: two masters, two open and one snowboarding. The results speak for themselves:

2nd Place Masters Team

– Brad Aylwin, John Tamis, Shirley Kennett, Vince Papesch, Pene Milbank.

2nd Place Snowboarders

- Nick Maxwell, Craig Milbank, Kenna Rowe, Will Harbridge, Grace Mayer

3rd Place Open Team

- Anton Haueter, Nick Worthington, Anthony Strevens, Shannon Trafford, Erica Esdaile
