Turoa Extensions

The extensions are now in use at Turoa. These include the new lounge and the ski storage/workshop. This also doubles up as a bike storage room.

New ski storage/workshop

Now on your arrival you can unload your skis straight into the new room using the same combination as the main door (the entrance to the workshop is on the side of the building, to the left of the kitchen windows as you face them from the car park). Please ensure the door is locked when you finish loading and unloading. This room is fitted out with a heater and extract fan so you can wax your skis in comfort in the evenings. Please ensure the heater and lights are turned off when you have finished.

New lounge

Once inside the main area enjoy the extra space of the new lounge and bring your $1 coins with you for those great games of pool on our new table. When you have finished in the evening, last person out is to turn off the heaters and lights. The heaters are thermostatically controlled; please do not adjust the thermostats.

Parking

As parking is tight, please park considerately. The island in front of the ski storage room has been located to match standard car parking widths so we haven’t lost any spaces, just made them a little tighter.
