Mark Fairley introduced a special award for Monique Oosterbaan who is the 2009 New Zealand Junior Women’s Champion; the first time any Rangatira member has been a national ski champion.  Mark gave a great speech talking about the history of racing in the club (of which Mark himself is a big part) and how Monique’s achievements represent a new pinnacle for Rangatira members.
