Initially trained as an electrician in Auckland.  Joined the RNZAF as a pilot in 1988.  Flew Iroquois helicopters for years then moved onto Hercules for a period.  After a recent tour as CO3 SQN, I’m now in London for a three year posting as the Air Advisor in the NZ Hi Com.
