2010 Ngauruhoe Trophy Results
Wow what a fantastic way to finish up our club racing season for 2010.
Junior Team - First Place

The Ngauruhoe trophy is always the pinnacle of club racing events. (Did you know, this is apparently the largest ski club event of its kind in the world?)
Despite plenty of snow falling the night before, along with very strong winds throughout the night and race day, we were lucky enough to have this extraordinary event run once again.
We raced a rather short and open course starting in front of the new cafe. But the sun shone and being able view the race from the comfort (out of the gale force winds) of the new cafe made for relaxed conditions for interested observers.
Congratulations to all the competitors who took park throughout the 2010 season; we couldn’t have done it without your efforts and enthusiasm. Also, a huge thank you goes out to everybody who has helped out behind the scenes, and of course our club committee who support and fund these races for us allowing it all to happen.
As well as the teriffic team results, there were some stand out performances from individuals in our club:

Austin Davies 2nd Place – Junior Men
Amy MacIntyre 3rd Place – Junior Women
It’s just fantastic to see our young, up and coming racers making their mark on club scene.
