Rangatira 1st in the Masters category for the second year in a row. Mark Fairley was the fastest master and the 5th fastest overall. Well done Mark.

There were 122 finishers in all from 25 teams so a pretty good effort by Rangatira. The boys, asisde from young Mark Fairley, will have to work harder to catch up to Maria. Iain was absolutely gutted to loose to Rob by a staggeringly large 0.07 of a second.  He was heard to say that he would be getting some race coaching in an attempt to redress the imbalance.

Everyone enjoyed the after race function at Ngauruhoe.  Anthony Streven’s girl friend took home an excellent Rossignol backpack as one of the door prizes.

Thanks to all the participants and supporters.  We look forward to doing it all again next year.
