SUMMER BOOKINGS


Rangatira Alpine Sports Club’s Ohakune lodge is open to members and their guests for summer bookings. $30 for adult and $20 for 17 years and under (per person per night), for self-catering. Bring your mates and extended family as these rates apply for all! Treat the lodge as your own and enjoy the array of local activities, experiencing fun and excitement over the summer.

The lodge will be available from December through to the end of March and then by application. As there is no custodian standard cleaning rules and common sense will still apply. So keep the club tidy for the next members and their guests.

Conveniently located close to Ohakune’s restaurants, bars and cafes. Accommodation is ‘club’ style with bunkrooms (sleeps up to 6 per room), communal living areas, full commercial kitchen facilities, drying rooms for wet gear and ample parking. Facilities are ideal for school groups, sports and tramping clubs, corporate team building, conferences, weddings or family birthdays.

Ohakune, at the southern edge of the Tongariro National Park, sits serenely at the foot of the majestic Mt Ruapehu. Ohakune is the starting point for the Mountains to Sea Cycleway, providing the Ohakune Old Coach Road which is the first stage of the cycleway. Direct from Ohakune you can walk or bike the Ohakune Old Coach Road, the iconic Bridge to Nowhere, the Tongariro Crossing or explore the lush forests of the Tongariro National Park and the stunning alpine walks up Mountain Road on the slopes of Mt Ruapehu.
